How to Accomplish Abundance in your Life
Take a look at yourself - inside and out. Where do you live? What job do you have? How do you relate to your friends and family? What interests do you pursue? What adventures do you have?
What do you truly want from life? What's your master plan and purpose? Do you want wealth and success, happiness and peace of mind? Do you want a family and a yard, a yacht or a sports car? Where are you going? Do you have a particular goal, a dream and desire- OR - are you wandering through life just settling for whatever comes your way?
You CAN accomplish anything you want in life - that, my friend is true. Once realizing a desire, you need to set a goal - then you will fulfill that desire by straightforward commitment, total conviction and faith that it is the will of God for your life.
But what if you don't know what you want? Maybe your goals are smaller ones in comparison to others - like losing some weight or buying an new car. Maybe getting a promotion or finding a mate. Whether you want a bigger apartment, your first home or want to be CEO of your company - ANY avenue of prosperity or achievement is open to you if it's what you truly want.
No goal is too small, no dream is too big. Even if you aren't clear on your desires, you can tap into your subconscious mind to get the answers to find the path of your success - by prayer and seeking God in your life. He will reveal the answers to you in many different ways - and open doors to help you find your way.
Can you change your life? Do you want to? Can you picture yourself as your most perfect image of accomplishment? How does it feel? If you have the desire to attain goals, the commitment and perseverence to follow through and the ability to creatively imagine yourself in the position you dream of - you are more than halfway there!
The most successful leaders and artists throughout history have followed specific plans and goals to attain their hearts' desires. It takes tenacity and the attitude the you are more than a conquerer through Christ who strengthens you! Keep an open mind and a hopeful outlook - then change your thinking. Put on the armor of God and the clothes of success - act as though you already have accomplished your desires. Then let the reality catch up!
God's Word clearly tells us, "Therefore I say to you, whatever you desire, when you pray believing that you will recieve them - you shall have them." Mark 11:24
Of course, let's not get discouraged when things don't happen when you think it should, but trust God enough to know that His timing is ALWAYS perfect. God's words of wisdom also comfort us by this gentle reminder, "My thoughts are not your thoughts neither are your ways like my ways." Isaiah 55:8
So let's simply just trust our loving Master.
I leave you with this: A few years ago, at the Seattle Special Olympics, their were nine contestants, all physically or mentally disabled, assembled at the starting line for the 100-yard dash. At the gun, they all started out, not exactly in a dash, but with relish to run the race to the finish and win. All that is, but one boy who stumbled on the ground and tumbled a few times and began to cry. When the others heard the boy cry - all 8 of them turned around and went back to him. Every one of them.
One of the girls that had Down's Syndrome leaned over him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and soothed him by saying,"There, there, that'll make you better."
All nine of them - arm in arm - walked across the finish line together.
Makes us think, doesn't it? The simplest, most innocent in our society remind us about the basic, most important factors of fundamental humanism - love and compassion for eachother.
Laughter is the best medicine: Seen on a church bulletin board," The eighth graders will be presenting Shakespeare's Hamlet" in the church basement on Friday at 7 p.m. The congregation is invited to attend this tragedy." ;)
